Harper's "First Series" of the Tales of the Frontier was likely issued in 1913 (from code letters) and consisted of eight books (Source: complete set with I-N code letters and a complete set with A-O letters):

Harper's Second Series of the Tales of the Frontier was likely issued in 1915 (from code letters) and consisted of eight books (source: Salesman sample of the second series):

First English edition, blue cloth, no illustration on front cover of man on horseback riding along mountain trail. Four pages of advertisements are not included in this printing, otherwise the printing is the same as the first edition except for the cover.

First English edition, blue cloth, no illustration on front cover of man on horseback riding along mountain trail.

Note: This book has the same ads in it at the end as the first printing. This book is also very similar to the U.K. printing of Forlorn River.
