The ZGWS Annual Convention

Lone Pine, CA
October 14th - 17th, 2024

Join us in historic Lone Pine, CA, for this year's annual convention.

The convention hotel will be the wonderful and historic Dow Villa Hotel. Many Zane Grey movies were filmed in the area and this convention will have a "movie" theme. Some of the Zane Grey movies filmed in the area include Riders of the Purple Sage (with Tom Mix), Sunset Pass, Nevada, and Code of the West.

Afternoon - more presentations and the Annual ZGWS Fundraising Auction
Evening - Ice Cream Social and Members Book Fair

Wednesday, October 16th
Morning - Carpool out to sites where Zane Grey movies were filmed
Lunch
Afternoon - Free time - on your own
Evening - On your own

Thursday, October 17th
Morning - Annual Business Meeting
Lunch
Afternoon - more presentations / book discussion (Wanderer of the Wasteland)
