The 2013 ZGWS Convention will be held in Provo, Utah, home of Brigham Young University. This year, the theme of the convention will be Zane Grey at the Movies. Our own member, James D’Arc of BYU will host, introduce, and show 7 movies made from Zane Grey novels including Western Union, Thunder Mountain, Wild Horse Mesa, The Border Legion, and others. If you’ve never heard Jim introduce a Zane Grey movie, you’re in for a real treat!

As members know, we normally will have a After Convention Trip to another interesting site or locale, for those wanting to see more of the area. This year, we’ll be seeing Bryce Canyon National Park, Kanab, Utah and the area on the north rim of the Grand Canyon that Grey visited, and then the Lodge on the North Rim, Grand Canyon National Park.
