Mormon Lake, Arizona
June 22 – 25th, 2015
Come to the pines of Northern Arizona, just 30 minutes southeast of Flagstaff, to Mormon Lake Lodge. Mormon Lake was a jumping off point for Zane Grey for his Arizona adventures. His party would congregate at Mormon Lake, then head off to the Rim country.
Mormon Lake Lodge is a historic lodge located at Mormon Lake and will be our host for the convention. We will be staying in their cabins and having our business meetings in their authentic western town.

As many of you who have attended a convention know, we have a tradition of having an after convention trip. This typically is to a location that might be less appropriate for a convention, but of great interest to the members, especially those who want to get outdoors to hike or see the scenery. For example, past After Convention Trips have included Trapper’s Lake in Colorado, Crater Lake in Oregon, the Grey family home in Altadena, CA, Monument Valley in Arizona, and Moab, Utah. This year our plan for an after convention trip is to travel to Page, AZ and take a boat tour to Rainbow Bridge on Saturday.
In addition, we’re hoping to make a trip on Sunday before the convention to the original site of Zane Grey’s cabin, under the Tonto Rim, along Tonto Creek, east of Payson, AZ. Look for more details soon.
