Desert Bound*

The draft of "Desert Bound" was purportedly* written by Mildred Smith (Zane Grey's companion during the 1920's.)  Grey edited the work for publication in McCalls and as the novel, CAPTIVE OF THE DESERT.  The novel can be read in its entirety by clicking here.
