Stairs of Sand

The serial edition of "Stairs of Sand" ran in five consequentive editions of McCalls Magazine  beginning in March 1928.  The final serial was published in January 1929 though the novel itself had been published by Harpers in 1928.  

Each edition is listed to the left beginning with "Part One". If you click each of the five "parts" you can read the serial as originally published.  The first part, sadly, does not include the magazine's cover. This is included in all other parts. You will enjoy the original illustrations, advertisements from the period and the original text.
