The Fisherman*
"The Fisherman" is a story that is the lightly disguised tale of Zane Grey himself and an old fisherman named "Muddy Miser." It was published in Outdoor America from July 1924 through December 1925. Outdoor America was the official publication of the Isaac Walton League and Grey was a member of the publication's editorial staff. This is a rare story that was printed included in a book until The Undiscovered Zane Grey Fishing Stories edited by George Reiger in 1983. We are not aware of the story ever before being published online. Our offerings only include four of the serials. If anyone owns any of the other sequels and is willing to share them, please email info@gmail.com.
