The Call of the Canon

The serial edition of "The Call of the Canon" ran in four editions of The Ladies Home Journal  beginning in November 1921.  

Each edition is listed to the left beginning with "Part One". If you click each of the four "parts" you can read the serial as originally published.  The first part, sadly, does not include the magazine's cover. This is included in all other parts. You will enjoy the original illustrations, advertisements from the period and the original text.

The serial was later published as a novel with a slighting different spelling, specifically The Call of the Canyon, which can be read by clicking here.
